My daughter and I are writing this blog to let many of you know that she has been invited to be a Student Ambassador with the People to People program! She and some other US student delegates will be taking an educational trip to China! I am extremely proud of her and would be so elated if she can partake on this important journey.
However, as with many things in life, there is a large travel expense that goes along with this opportunity. As her father and I are paying for the majority of the trip, we are truly praying for some support from the family and friends who have an overall interest in her academic well-being. We truly understand that we are all experiencing a severe economic down turn and that money is fairly scarce; however, if you can commit to giving ANY financial support (no matter the size) we will be forever grateful to you.
In addition to this shout out, we would like to mail you a formal letter outlining the details of her delegation, the forecast date for departure and return, the purpose of this academic venture, and how your monetary support will be allocated. Please send your mailing address to my email address so that we may personally send your formal sponsor letter to you.
